Q: WHAT AGES ARE PERMITTED?

Children ages 8-12


Q: WHERE IS CAMP?

Optimist Recreation Center – Gym – 703 Oakwood Ave NE, Huntsville, AL 35811


Q: WHAT ARE CAMP HOURS?

8:30am to 11:30am – Wednesday Thursday & Friday

9am to 12pm – Saturday – SHOWDAY


Q:  WHAT ARE THE – SUMMER 2024 – MAGIC CAMP DATES?

Wednesday through Saturday – July 24-27, 2024 (Saturday is showday) Parents, Friends, and Family are invited to – WATCH THE KIDS – perform!


Q:  WHAT IS THE COST?

$325 per Camper (early bird registration is $300 – use the CODE – ROCKETCITYMOM)


Q: ARE LUNCH OR SNACKS PROVIDED FOR CAMPERS?

No


Q: WHAT MAGIC TRICKS AND FUN STUFF DO THE KIDS GET TO BRING HOME?

Each Magic Camper receives an official ALABAMA ACADEMY OF MAGIC zipper/shoulder bag

+ a KEY CARD (with secure 24/7/365 access to videos explaining each day’s magic lessons)

+ 4 high-quality magic FILE FOLDERS (with puzzles, interesting kids’ stuff and even MORE magic tricks)

+ 4-8 – AWARD WINNING (and amazing) Discover Magic – MAGIC TRICKS

+ a certificate or magic wand (depending on the semester).


Q:  WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM # OF CAMPERS?

50 kids. Please register early, this camp – WILL – fill up!


Q:  WHAT IS THE COUNSELOR/CAMPER RATIO?

Ratio: 1 Counselor to 7 Campers


Q:  WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DECIDE TO CANCEL?

If you decide to cancel, you must do so 30 days prior to the first day magic camp.

There is a $50 cancellation fee PER CHILD.

After the 30 days prior deadline has passed, there will be no refund.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD CAN’T COME ONE DAY?

No problem. Your child’s counselor will set all the magic tricks, and fun stuff aside for them.


Q: WHEN DOES REGISTRATION OPEN?

Registration for STEVE TRASH MAGIC CAMP (Huntsville) opens on January 1, 2024


Q: WILL STEVE TRASH BE THERE EVERY DAY?

Yes! Steve is excited about the fun, magic, and excitement that Magic Camp brings all the kids (and the grownups), so he’s there every day!


Q: ON SATURDAY – (show day) – CAN WE BRING FAMILY AND FRIENDS?

You bet! We love to see a packed house, and the kids REALLY enjoy an audience!


Q: WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Q: DO I NEED TO SIGN A RELEASE FORM OF SOME KIND?

Yes, this is a part of the registration process (the release is signed digitally – online). You’ll be sent a request link (via email) for info about your child (allergies, age, etc.) and the release within 24 hours of registering.


Q: HOW DO I KNOW MY CHILD IS SUCCESSFULLY REGISTERED?

Ms Krystal (camp counselor) will send you an email within 24 hours of you registering.


Q: CAN WE STAY AND WATCH MAGIC CAMP?

You bet! You’re welcome to sit in the stands and watch the fun. There’s plenty of room and it’s fun to watch the kids… making magic.
